Dr. Saskia Lytle-Vieira, DO, ABHM is a board certified physician specializing in osteopathic manual medicine (OMM) for infants, children, and adults. Her medical practice is based on engaging the inherent therapeutic healing forces of the body through the principles of traditional osteopathy as taught by Andrew Taylor Still, MD,DO and William Garner Sutherland, DO.
Dr. Lytle-Vieira is board certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (C-OMM/NMM) as well as Integrative Holistic Medicine. Dr. Lytle-Vieira is Nashville’s only OMM specialist.
After receiving her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed a traditional rotating internship followed by a residency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
Dr. Lytle-Vieira has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings, treating patients of all ages and medical conditions, including pregnant women, newborn babies, children, critically ill (intensive care unit) patients, post-surgical patients, chronic pain patients, and adults with acute and chronic illnesses.
Prior to relocating to Nashville, Dr. Lytle-Vieira maintained a solo private practice in OMM and integrative medicine in Oklahoma.
She has trained under some of the nation’s most respected osteopathic physicians, and is a member of the American Academy of Osteopathy, the Cranial Academy, the American Holistic Medical Association, and the American Osteopathic Association.
She is deeply committed to self-care and health for herself and her patients.
